Ancient History II: Atlantis and the Ages of Man

The linear progression narrative of the history of man evolving from a primitive humanoid ape-like beast progressing up to modern homo sapiens through natural selective pressures alone (leaving aside the origins of DNA to begin with) should be looked at with an increasing amount of skepticism given what we currently know from not just the written records of ancient history but the archeological, geological and genealogical records. The story that is emerging is much more nuanced, and much richer in fact than the standard narrative that we are taught in schools.

We peel back the veil on this historical narrative and evaluate various theoretical alternatives that better fit the data set currently available.

Ancient Studies II diary entry available here.

Enjoy. Namaste.
